Sarah B. Smith

Biography

Sarah B. Smith was born in Iowa and moved to the Pacific Northwest at a young age. She creates surrealist environmental portraits utilizing the processes of digital photography and montage/manipulation, as well as non-figurative paintings and objects exploring the scientific connections of our world and Universe. Smith is a 2015 Washington State Artist Trust Visual EDGE graduate and was selected as a Spaceworks Artscapes participant for the Woolworth’s Windows in Tacoma, WA in 2014. She resides in Tacoma, Washington where the natural environments influence and integrate into her artistic process.
